Injury risk increase detection insights

We have added a new insight to KULG that detects early-warning signs for potential injury risk. This feature is based on the latest scientific research that found that the likelihood of running-related overuse injuries increases significantly when the distance of a single run exceeds 10% of the longest run completed within the last 30 days.

Now, KULG provides a risk-level insight when a run is at least 10% longer than any other run in the past 28–35 days and exceeds 15 km in distance:

  • Low risk: 10–30% longer

  • Average risk: 31–100% longer

  • High risk: more than 100% longer

Other improvements

  • Optimised the mobile web in preparation for the upcoming iOS app launch.

  • Corrected the heart rate vs. speed graph scale, which displayed incorrectly for some predefined time frames and intervals.
