You can invite your coach (or running buddy) to join KULG and grant access to view your training data under Settings. Your coach or running buddy who you’ve given access to can also start using KULG for tracking their own running progress.

Currently there is no restriction on the number of people you can grant access to view your data and the coach will be able to see a list of runners under his account. You can revoke access to your data any time.

The person you’ve given access to will be able to view your Dashboard, Activities and Goals but will not be able to make any edits at this point. At the moment, the person you’ve given access to also cannot see your activity notes.

How runner can grant access to his/ her training data:

1. Invite your coach/ friend to sign in to KULG App by giving them the link https://app.kulg.io
2. Go to your Account Settings and add the same Gmail that your coach/ friend signed up with
3. To remove access, go to Settings and click on the Revoke access button

NB! 📍

To give someone access to your running data, that person should first sign in to KULG App. You can grant access only after they have signed up to KULG App. If you cannot give access, then check if the person has already signed in to KULG or if the email is correct.

Since we currently offer Google authentication, then the person you invite should also have a Gmail account 💌 This will change as we add authentication methods.

How coach/ friend can see your training data:

1. Sign in to KULG App with a Gmail
2. Select the runner’s account from the drop-down
3. Click on their own name to track their training data

NB! 📍

If your coach/ friend was in KULG App as you gave access to him/ her, s/he has to log out and log in to KULG App again for the runner’s account to appear to the menu drop-down.

Tips on how to collaborate 💡

→ Instead of sending a weekly or monthly summary to your coach, you can simply give access to your training data and s/he will be able to see your performance and recovery trends in detail to get the full picture and fine-tune your training plan based on that. This way you can skip reporting and focus on sharing qualitative feedback and context.

→ Sharing your data with a running buddy can make running fun and help you hold each other accountable. Keep in mind that every runner is unique and trends and metrics are often not comparable between different runners.
